Have Vonage VOIP and will be upgrading to a Verzicon Business DSL with Static IP. Will Verizon have a heart attack?

You can still use VOIP over DSL… BUT, since DSL is tied to a POTS line (Plain Old Tel Svc) you cannot also cancel the underlying telephone line that provides the dsl.

Depending on your DSL speed, and what you are replacing, performance may be an issue. Typically, VOIP uses approximately 90-256K bandwidth while in use.
