Try Skype. I believe it’s $14.95 for an entire year.

I have used packet 8 over the last 2 years and very disappointed. Am switching to Bandwidth.com which has a service guarantee they put in writing. These folks are top notch.

    Good Luck

The company I work for uses a Toshiba CIX. It seem to work well. I have not had too many problems with it.

look at Packet8 on the VoIP page. It’s $19.99 per month and the first month and adapter is free.

Not too pricey is a relative term.

However, if you want your offices to be able to call each over using three or four digit dialing, call local customers using the closest phone system or combine VoIP with your existing lines you are actually looking at a business-class phone system (PBX) that normally does not really fit definition of ‘cheap’. But then, again, if your business depends on it for your communications, an hour of downtime or a lost contract may be more than the cost difference.
I’m sure there are plenty other solutions on the market, but I’m more familiar with what Avaya has to offer. Their small-to-medium size IP Office phone system will fit the bill (especially after SIP trunks will be available in the next week’s upgrade). Try the resource below for more info on that.
