If you are still wondering what VoIP PBX is then this article is a perfect starting place for you. VoIP is voice communication via the internet as opposed to a traditional telephone line, and PBX is a type of phone system that is great for effective business communications. With your PBX system, you get a whole bunch of features such as voice via email service, call transfer, fax, call screening, caller ID, dial by name, and some others. PBX telephone also includes an auto-attendant feature which is great for business because you can receive multiple calls at the same time! Your callers are greeted by an automated message and given a list of choices to reach the person they are directly trying to contact. Now you’ll never have to spend a time on a receptionist! And, you will never have to miss a call because your calls can be routed to you!
It is easy to see why a dependable VoIP PBX telephone system can really help enhance your business. The system itself is pretty complex, but you can install it pretty easily if you know anything about computers and networks. Unlike with traditional phone systems, with VoIP PBX you won’t need to deal with a professional.
Another bonus? Your VoIP PBX equipment is maintained at your provider’s site not your office. So, any issues that do arrive will be taken care of away from the office, saving you the hassle.

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010Can I sign up for a residential VOIP plan for my business?
Tuesday, December 30th, 2008MooCowMan asked:
Tags: Business Equipment, Business Phone, Business PlanI own a couple of auto shops. We only need 1 line per shop and our usage is very low (5-10 short calls per day). I’m thinking about switching to VOIP, but a business plan will cost almost as much as my regular business phone plan. Will VOIP companies allow me to sign up for a residential plan for my business. Will they even know if it’s for business or residential? Can the equipment be moved form one place to another?
If you don’t know enough about the subject to give an answer, don’t answer. “You’re going to get in trouble” is of no use to me.
